🛼 Choi Min-jeong's Last Dance: Fresh Words From Her Return Home! ⛸️ - 2026.11.04 | Short Track

Hello, fans! 🛼 Choi Min-jeong's 'Last Dance' is heating up. This time, we're focusing on her return interview and her 2nd stop races! ⛸️

🇰🇷 Heartfelt Words on Her Return

Choi Min-jeong arrived home at Incheon International Airport on the 3rd with a bouquet of flowers and a bright smile! She looked tired from the long flight, but she kept smiling 😊 She said, "I want to race my best in every event and have no regrets" ^[1].

She also said, "My knee rehab went well, and I've prepared to a certain degree," which must have eased many fans' minds 🙌 ^[1]. She added that after a rough start to the World Tour, it felt great to get strong results from the early part of the season ^[1].

🏆 Medal Run at Stops 1 and 2

At the 1st and 2nd stops in Canada, she won 2 golds, 4 silvers, and 1 bronze ^[1]. Winning the women's 1,000m at both stops in a row is truly impressive! 🔥 SBS reported that she has won more gold medals and more total medals than in the first two events of the previous two seasons ^[5].

In the women's 1500m at the 2nd stop, she narrowly missed the win. In a crowded field of nine skaters, she avoided a crash when three Dutch skaters tangled and fell, then made a daring inside pass on the final lap to move up to second place 🏃‍♀️ There wasn't enough distance left to overtake the leader, but her all-out sprint was thrilling ^[5]. She finished with silver ^[3].

At the same event, Kim Gil-li endured a string of bad luck and left without an individual medal, a disappointing result 😢 ^[3]

🏅 Cautious About the Crystal Globe

Choi Min-jeong took a careful stance on the Crystal Globe, which she has yet to win. "I didn't prepare with the Crystal Globe as a goal from the start," she said, adding that she needs stronger results in the short distances and must manage her fitness through the late season ^[1]. Now that she has a chance at her first win, fans will be watching closely! 👀

🇰🇷 Ahead of Home Fans and Her Final National Team Season

Choi Min-jeong will meet domestic fans at the World Tour 3rd stop in Mokdong, Seoul, from the 20th to the 22nd ^[1]. Banners urging her not to retire were reportedly displayed at the venue ^[5]. She also made a promise: "Please keep supporting me through the 3rd World Tour stop in Korea. I'll work hard and show you a good performance" ^[4] 💛

Choi, who announced in April that she would give up her national team badge, will end her national team career after the 2026-2027 season. The 2027 World Championships in Seoul in March will be her farewell stage with the national team, and she plans to continue her career in domestic competitions afterward ^[1].

Let's keep cheering for Choi Min-jeong's comeback and overtaking drama! 📣 Your support is our greatest strength ✨
