Hello, fans! Wallet Warrior is here! 💸 This week, I've packed the newsletter with new releases aiming for our wallets, epic collaborations, and fun offline event news. If you're wondering what to do over the holidays, focus on today's letter! 🎮✨

🐉 New Releases & Hits

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Lands on Mobile! Netmarble's new title 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' was finally officially launched on mobile on the 21st ^[1]. Following the PC version, it hit #1 in popularity on the domestic App Store and #3 in Japan as soon as it came out on mobile ^[1]. The graphics and cinematic direction that captivate fans of the original are receiving favorable reviews, but everyone is keeping an eye on how the billing model will turn out ^[6]. I'm going to try it out first!

Rebellion of the Otakus! 'Nikke' Surges to #1 in Both Korea and Japan 🚀 The power of subculture is great! Shift Up's 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' achieved the feat of sweeping the #1 spot in Google Play revenue in both Korea and Japan, even though it's been 3 and a half years since its release ^[2]. Thanks to the highly loyal fandom, goods and offline events are also hitting the jackpot ^[2]. Hoyoverse's 'Genshin Impact' is also consistently making the top 10, bringing subculture games back to their golden age once again ^[7].

🤝 Hot Collabs & Updates

PUBG Mobile x Blue Lock Collab! Dominate the Field ⚽ Krafton's 'PUBG Mobile' has started a collaboration with the popular soccer animation 'BLUE LOCK' ^[3]. Starting from the 22nd, you can find exclusive outfits and themed items for major characters like Isagi Yoichi and Bachira Meguru, so let's open our parachutes and jump into the battlefield right now! ^[12]

A Real Bank Opened in Cookie Run: Kingdom? 🏦 Devsisters' 'Cookie Run: Kingdom' joined hands with KB Kookmin Bank to open a virtual branch inside the game ^[8]. Through this 'Bank in Game' event running until July 1st, you can have a unique brand experience with the cute cookies ^[9].

🎪 Fun Industry News

Nexon's Nostalgic Games Resurrected on Mobile! 🕹️ Nexon has opened its classic IPs to external creators through the 'Nexon Replay' project ^[4]. Thanks to that, 'Elancia' is being developed as an idle game and a remastered MMORPG, and 'Legend of Darkness' is scheduled to be reborn as a high-quality dot mobile RPG ^[4]. I'm so excited that we can feel the vibes of classic masterpieces on mobile again! ^[10]

Head to KINTEX This Weekend! PlayX4 2026 🎪 Right now at KINTEX in Ilsan, 'PlayX4 2026' is in full swing! It runs from the 21st until today (the 24th), and you can experience various new titles across mobile, PC, and console from large game companies like Nexon and Line Games to indie games ^[5]. In particular, Nexon's 'Dungeon & Fighter' booth is said to be huge, so make sure to stop by if you have time ^[11].

You'll be busy pulling gachas this week too, but I hope you try out the new releases at least once during the holidays! I'll be back next week with more fun news. Wishing everyone the best of luck with your gacha pulls! 🍀
